First of all, Conquest is not a horror film. It is a fantasy movie with no real plot. Anyway, this film has a good, mysterious atmosphere and it is worth watching. Not one of Fulci's best movies, but it is all right.
Speaking of violence, there is some, but this is not a "gore movie" by any means. Andrea Occhipinti stars as Ilias. He played Peter Bunch in the The New York Ripper (1982), so at first I had hard time taking him seriously, but he is a good actor and he works well in Conquest.
Good, psychedelic fun. Recommended.
