Lo Strano Vizio della Signora Wardh (Blade of the Ripper) is the first Sergio Martino film I have ever seen. Frankly, I did not know what to expect, because I usually do not read any reviews on the movies I am about to see. I did know that Lo Strano Vizio della Signora Wardh was a giallo, but that is about it.
This is not quite as stylish as many other giallos. The cinematography could have been more creative and the soundtrack could have been better. Nevertheless, this is a good movie. It has an especially strong plot, and the film keeps the viewer in its grasp all the way to the end. Recommended.
